MINUTES

 

This meeting, held at St. Moritz Grill & Bar, 9 White Deer Plaza, Sparta, NJ, was called to order at 1:14 pm by President Dana Mooney. 

 

ROLL CALL:     

 

            President Dana Mooney – present

            1st Vice-President Danette Dyer – absent

            2nd Vice-President Linda Roth - present

            Secretary Toni Grisaffi - present

            Treasurer Gail Magura – present

            Chaplain Jessica Caruso – present

 

Minutes from April 10, 2015 meeting were distributed to all members for approval. Motion was made by Regina Thomas, seconded by Leah Corver.  All in favor.

 

The Treasurer’s report was available for this meeting.  A motion to approve the Treasurer’s report was made by Theresa Schlosser, seconded by Jessica Caruso.  All in favor.

 

 

UNFINISHED BUSINESS:

 

            Volunteers to plan a Scholarship Breakfast are needed.  Recommendations for locations were discussed.

 

            The TCTANJ plaque was presented to retiree Regina Thomas.

 

            Please verify your information on Membership lists.

 

Grant Rome of the Nominating Committee provided an update.  The proposed slate of officers is as follows:

 

            President – Linda Roth                             Town of Newton

            1st Vice President – Lisa Gerickont            Township of Oxford

            2nd Vice President – Dianne O’Connor        Township of Sparta

            Secretary – Christine Rolef                       Township of Blairstown

            Treasurer – Theresa Schlosser                 Borough of Franklin

NEW BUSINESS:

 

            Introduction of present Associate Business Members was made by Linda Roth.  In attendance were John Mooney with Nisivoccia, LLP and Darren Lowe with MGL.

 

SPEAKER:

           

            Angleo J. Bolcato from the law firm Laddey, Clark and Ryan, LLP spoke about Bankruptcy.
