Stanhope Borough is looking for a Full Time Utility Collector/Assistant to the Tax Collector. This includes Water billing, posting and all associated reporting. This person will be the main cashier, making all deposits, and will post tax collection as well. Eventually all other Finance deposits will be performed by this employee.
Will also be responsible for Payroll (will be trained on R & L Data), and will be cross-trained to cover in the Finance Office as backup during vacations and illness.
Experience required in Utility or Tax Collection. We use Municipal Software for Finance, Tax and Water/Sewer.

Hours are Monday through Friday, 8:30 to 4:30. Salary range $33,000 to $37,000, depending on experience. NJ State Health and Dental Benefits, Pension.
